How to Apply

ASB has a rolling admissions policy, i.e. accepting qualified applicants until that particular class is full.   In other words, the earlier you apply, the greater your chance of being accepted. All students must first be accepted into the school before applying to the Section.   All applications must be complete before they will be considered.  A complete application should include the following:

€100 non-refundable check made out to IND

€400 deposit to reserve place in section.   Note: This check is to reserve your child’s place in the section if accepted.  The check will be deposited only upon being accepted into the section, from which point the check becomes non-refundable; this amount will be deducted from the first-term fees.  If for any reason your child is not accepted, this check will either be destroyed or returned to you.

Completed Application Form (students interested in the Section can receive the application form by sending us a request by email)

Letter of Motivation from the Student (from CM2 to Terminale – only in English)

Recommendation from Current English Teacher

A piece of student’s written work in English (preferably  marked by current teacher)

If the student application reflects the profile of an ASB student, that student will be sent a convocation for testing.  To be accepted into the section, all students must successfully pass both a written and oral exam.  Only students who have sat both exams will be considered for entry into the section.

Please remember that all students interested in applying to the Anglophone Section, must first start by filling in the pre-inscription form as well as an application for general admission.  The application for general admission is available at reception; applicants living abroad can contact the school and request that it be sent to your home address.  Applicants to the Anglophone Section are also requested to confirm their fluency in English by filling out the attached application below.  If you have additional questions, please contact Anne-Sophie Caudron at the following email address: secretariat-secondaire@ind78.com.

It must be reiterated that acceptance into the section does not guarantee a place at Institut Notre Dame.  The section does make recommendations to the school based on the student’s academic qualifications in English.  To be accepted into the section and the school, a student must also have the rigorous academic background demanded by the school.

100€ non remboursable par cheque à l’ordre d’ASB

Formulaire d’admission rempli
