June 2024 Edition of the ASB Section Spotlight

This last edition of the 2023 2024 school year is no different from our previous newsletters in that it is packed to the margins with great articles showcasing outstanding talent, incredible events and performances, and trips that will forever live on in our memories, as well as much more.
The subtle difference with this issue is that it will be the last one I will have the privilege to edit. I have been editing the newsletter since 2012 and can honestly say, hand on heart, that I have loved every minute. As A A Milne (creator of Winnie the Pooh) said, "How lucky am I to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard". We can be immensely proud of everything our children (past and present ASB students) have accomplished already and everything I know they can achieve in the future. The Section has gone from strength to strength, and with your support, long may that continue. Whilst I'm sad to say goodbye to editing the newsletter, I'm looking forward to being able to keep in touch via the many great friends I have made along the way, and I hope to continue seeing the Spotlight and all the news on everything ASB, via the school website.
That leaves me to thank you for all your support for the Spotlight over the years. As with so many things we try to do, this venture wouldn't be possible without you! HAPPY SUMMER HOLIDAYS to one and all! Wherever you find yourself in the world, be it at home or abroad, be sure to have lots of fun!
