Section Spotlight
Dear Parents, Teachers and Students,
As we enjoy this crazy September weather and start the weekend, hot off the press comes your very own ASB Section Spotlight. Click on the link below for the whole flipbook experience.
ASB Section Spotlight - Issue One - September 2023 (link to the Flipbook version)
If you can't access the link for whatever reason, please let me know, and I will gladly send you the newsletter in .pdf format, or you can view it in due course on the IND website.
In Issue One, we introduce and welcome new faces to the teaching team and celebrate our IGCSE students' incredible exam success. A virtual round of applause also goes to our graduating class of 2023 on their exceptional Baccalauréat results. We wish them all the best of luck and every happiness as they continue on their journeys, whether here in France or across the globe.
From our youngest in the maternelle to our older students in Terminale, the year is off to a great start with lots of sharing, interaction and hard work already under their belts. We're all looking forward to growing together in the months ahead.
For those new to the ASB, the Spotlight is ordinarily published around six times per year and is used, as you will see, to showcase our students' many talents and keep you informed on all things ASB. If you or your child(ren) would like to contribute to the Section Spotlight, the deadline for submissions for the next edition is
Friday 24 November. Please send your contributions to me at asbparentsassociation@gmail.com, and I will be sure to include your articles. Also, if you are a regular avid newsletter reader, you may have ideas on new items we could include in future editions. We would love to hear from you, too.
As the Spotlight is only circulated by email and posted on the school website, we ask that you share the newsletter with your children and anyone else you think might be interested! We know students get an enormous buzz from seeing their work in print! Please note: this school recently provided me with a new list of parent email addresses. If you have told me that you wish to receive email at a different address and I have inadvertently sent it to an old one, please accept my apologies for the error and forgive me for asking you to send me the information again.
That leaves me to thank everyone who contributed to this issue and remind everyone that we have some great events coming up and that it's not too late to let us know you will be coming along.
- Lower School Parents Coffee Morning - Thursday 5 October (no need to RSVP);
- Study in Wales Mini Fair - Friday 6 October; and not forgetting
- Quiz Night! - Thursday 19 October
In the meantime, have a fabulous weekend!
